I have a few awesome announcements over the next few weeks. I'm literally bursting at the seams to tell you all what's new and happening!

I'll settle for TWO exciting things this week ... How's that?

Super happy to announce I've been officially invited to attend the Claddagh Author Event in Dublin!

Dublin has been on my bucket list of places to visit since I was a little girl!

You'll have to stay tuned for more info on this one but I'm tickled  pink green!
(Is that a thing? Can one be tickled green rather than pink? Or is that the colour of jealousy? Nah, we'll call it the colour of awesome!)

ARC'S are going out to all bloggers who have signed up for my wee little release day promo and hopefully there's some awesome reviews out and about asap!
(Bloggers if you missed it here's the link for the sign-up sheet - )

I'm widely saying March 25th for release of the very last Needle's kiss book however I might get sneaky and go early ... we all know some babies just don't like to wait!

A few things y'all NEED to know.

I won't be answering questions about HEA's, red dragons, Love triangles, magic mushrooms, cheating, kitten murders, lollypop sucking or any other thing that may or may not happen in my books from this point on.

I may be shooting myself in the foot for this but after much deliberation I decided... I just don't want to.

There was once a time in a far away magical land where people picked up a book to get lost in it's pages, to not know what was going to happen next or not know how it was going to end.

While I appreciate as  much as the next person knowing what I'm buying I don't believe we should be spoiling stories because we might not like something. I know, I know! I'm probably offending a bunch of people here but to hell with it. I wrote a book (a few of them) not everyone will like those books. Matter of fact this next one might flop but I'll take it like a bitch and suck it up if it does. Besides! You might surprise yourself and end up liking something you might have otherwise written off.

These pretty piles of paper (or files of digital stuff) are our babies. As writers we literally pour our blood, sweat, tears and the time we didn't have to spare in making them what they are (even if you don't like them) I for one don't like to feel as if I HAVE to tell anyone what is going to happen in order for them to want to read it.

I don't want to spend countless hours shoving everything else that needs to be done and time with my kids aside just to say 'it's a HEA' or 'There's no love triangle' or ' Yes, I made a character eat an icecream while riding a donkey on acid to the moon'

I will say this though, Forbidden Love is a bit different to the first two Needle's Kiss books. The story doesn't have that comedy feel to it. It's a bit more traumatic for lack of a better word. It was especially hard for me to write for a number of reasons.

First, I'm a solo mum... I'm exhausted and my brain decided it had other priorities (What a pain in the backside!) My kids do and always will come first. Most of you will understand that well. (And there's so many of the little humans it's hard work!) Solo mum or not ... sometimes writers block becomes such a problem that you can't fathom the idea of putting words down because there simply aren't any.

Second, Haven's story was a hard one. She isn't like my other FMC's she has her own style and refused to let me write her any other way. <- You'd think as the writer I could change things like this ... but I can't.

Lastly, This is the final goodbye for the Needle's Kiss books. That in itself was surprisingly more devastating than I thought it would be. These characters and their stories were a game changer for me and my children. They gave us a chance in life and made our lives a happier place.

All the feels for saying farewell.

With that out of the way I'm excited, nervous and terrified to hand this book over. I hope to the heavens and the magical unicorns you'll love it but even if you don't I pray you'll recognise the work put into it.

Well, that was long winded. Pass the tequila and stay tuned for another announcement coming soon!

It's an awesome one!

  1. Forbidden Love is a best treat for all the lovers.I think they will find it too much interesting as its based on two people who are madly in love with each other.
